iMessage account (inactive)

I was able to log in iMessage using my Apple ID, but whenever I want to chat with someone it tells me that my account is not signed in. It was written that my account is inactive but I can still use iMessage regularly on my iPad.

Have you tried logging out then resetting your phone. Hold in both buttons until the Apple logo comes up then wait for it to reboot. Then log back in and try that.
