I honestly have never heard of a downgrade kit ever. It sounds like a scam to me.

Maybe others on here have something to say on this.

I'm just curious, why would you want to downgrade? So you can jailbreak?

I probably would not do it, you are much better off just doing your google research if you want to jailbreak. You can find lots of info out there, youtube videos, step by step guides, etc, BUT keep in mind jailbreaking is an advanced topic and should not be done lightly, you CAN and MAY mess up your device.

Thanks for reminding me.

I remember the SHSH blobs from my dim and distant past. I had them for my iPhone 4 via TinyUmbrella but as far as I was aware that was a couple of iOS iterations ago and won't work on newer versions of iOS.

Also, it was free and never part of a kit as far as I can recall, so any 'downgrade kit' that costs money sounds like a scam to me.
