iMore Question

I have an ipod Nano 2nd generation. Got it back in 2006 (yes I know it is old) thing is when I got it I down loaded music to it. then my computer crashed. so I haven't really done anything with it since b/c I haven't really had a good enough computer that I wanted to redo iTunes and what not. so I have lost my usb cord and have to order one of those but I before I do I am curious if I once I get this new cord and I plug it into my new computer will it automatically turn on and start synching my ipod with my iTunes on my new computer or will it give me trouble b/c its not the same computer that I synced it with like 8 years ago? will I have to send it in and have it reset? anybody know?

1. Depending on your preferences via iTunes, it may or may not auto sync to your iPod.

2. You should be prompted to register your new computer with your iTunes account.
