Iphone 4 screen problem

I fitted a new screen to my Iphone 4 and the display is a black background/ Blank with random bluey stripes. I plugged my old screen in and it works fine. Could i have been sent a screen for a 4s by mistake?

Can you contact the vendor and give them the part number from the shipping doc? Might be the most expedient way to get an answer.

Could be the new screen is defective also, in either case as Q has suggested contacting the vendor is your best option.
