iPad data transfer

I have successfully transferred all data from old iPad to new. How do I shut down everything on the old iPad without disrupting data on the new iPad?

You can restore as new, that's one option. Option 2, sign out of everything, iCloud, App Store, email, iMessage, apps, etc...

just do format , Erase All Content and Settings from reset menu
also you want space in i cloud than delete old ipad backup as well
