Wi-Fi network adapter issues

I am having sporadic network issues connecting to the Internet. Is it at all possible maybe you could give me some insight on what I need to do? Every time I leave my Wi-Fi stale for a period of time the Internet disconnects and I have to reset my adapters and restart the computer to get back on. If you can’t help could you please forward me to someone that knows a little about this because I sure don’t.

Is there a computer setting that manages what happens when it goes into sleep mode? If so, is there a setting therein that will allow for the network to remain active?

Is there a firewall setting that disables the network when activity isn’t detected over a period of time?

Check if you have any updates. Bugs sometimes do appear in drivers and updates are there to fix them.
