Why isn't my Bluetooth usb dongle visible in Windows 10 laptop?

Bluetooth usb dongle not visible in windows 10 laptop

Hi. I got compaq laptop. I recently upgraded from windows 7 to 10. I m not able to connect Bluetooth device as it's not showing up. I got usb dongle for bluetooth even that's not visible once I insert it. Anyone pls. help.

Go to the support web site for the maker of the bluetooth device and see if they have any instructions for making their device work on Windows10.
