I found a good deal on Windows 8.1 (down below), but don't know how to put it on my Mac, or if I can. How would I do so? I want to use boot camp. Thanks.

The only good deal on Windows 8.1 I can think of is if Microsoft paid ME to put it on my machine...

In all seriousness though, it looks like you need Boot Camp 5 and Mountain Lion 10.8.3 to install Windows 8.1. Is that what you have?

Mountain Lion? LOL! Because I'm pretty sure it works with Mavericks and soon Yosemite. Windows 8.1 is what I'm trying to put on boot camp. This is for a 15 inch MacBook pro retina.

    Also, 64bit is fine, right?

You should be able to find a download on a Microsoft site. Then burn to DVD or a USB key.

I'm glad I amuse you; it gives me a warm, fuzzy glow inside.

Of course, I meant that it requires a minimum of the specs I posted, not that it only requires the specs I posted. Sorry for the confusion. And yes, 64 bit is fine.

So that link I posted, I can do that?

If you can buy an hour or so on a windows machine you can use the .exe installer, and once the download has completed there is an option to create a bootable USB memory stick or a DVD.
