    Hi, I changed my iPhone yesterday and after restoring it all from iCloud, my Whatsapp has not been connecting. I have tried everything but reinstalling the app as I do not wish to delete any chat history, however when I try to back it up I simply get the 'Please wait' box. I would be grateful for any help, thanks

    Is there an updated version of the app that needs installing? If so, update the app and then try using it. If not, do. A clean install of iOS and then restore the backup you referenced.

    None of this worked, I have the most recent what's app but still can't back it up, which is the most frustrating part
