How do I pay for an extra year?

I've been looking through the settings of whatsapp to pay for an extra year but it doesn't say anywhere. Looking in payment info just tells me when it expires and my phone number. None of the other options say anything else. I sent an email to whatsapp, only to get an email back saying to check my payment info like I've already done (though it was an automated email) and if that wasn't the answer, reply back with phone number etc which makes me instantly suspicious. I looked in the app in settings but thats just says about notifications. How do I pay for an extra year? It's frustrating as I only have 4 more months to sort this or not be able to talk to my whatsapp loving friends.
