Upon selecting and accessing a contact in Whatsapp "Chats" menu, the app crashes in about 2 seconds. I don't recall doing any tweaks and it came on suddenly after about year of problem-free use. I have found a temporary, though inconvenient workaround by adding the particular contact to "Favourites" and accessing/receiving and sending messages from that menu instead of from "Chats". Deleting the app and re-installing does not work, neither does deleting the Chats and re-installing. I have just deleted and re-installed the app WITHOUT replacing the archived chats to see if that would fix it, but that did not work either.

Phone is JB but has been for a year and this has only just occurred. I am wondering if another app is maybe conflicting with this app.

    Weird one huh.. any ideas?
