For all of us who have not suffered the beta life, watchOS 7 is now available.

I will add the release notes when I get home.

Re: watchOS 7 is alive

Looks like I can download watchOS over 4G.
Maybe not, but the Watch app's behaviour makes you feel like it can.

Re: watchOS 7 is alive

Thankfully, this particular beta build had been rock solid from the start.

Got it installed. Deleted the sleep app I was using and let the OS take over.

I must say I do like the Sleep Schedule idea.

Well, one again Series 3 owners got stiffed.

Hand Washing not available.

Not that I would use it, but it would be neat.

I don’t mind that. My series 6 is ordered and will arrive on the 28th of this month.
Until then, I’ll just wash my hands as I did for the last 40 years

Because if something bad happens during the update, there is no way for you to restore the Apple Watch.

WatchOS 7 became available yesterday at 3pm CST and I installed it immediately. So far so good.

The hand washing function IS available, it's just off by default. You can turn it on by going to settings on either your phone or watch.

Not on series 3. Several sites confirm this and I can also. Only available on series 4 and later due to microphone and motion sensors.

If I didn’t have the handwashing timer turned on I wouldn’t know how to wash my hands. It’s kinda fun

It is kind of fun but so far it isn’t very accurate. Sometimes it takes at least 10 seconds to start the clock and sometimes it doesn’t start at all. I’ll probably turn it off.

I’ve noticed this myself to. I still have a nine on. Lol. Do you think the  will try to improve this

I also noticed that it takes a couple of seconds to start, but it also accounts for that delay.
