Warning everyone, this beta 8 brick my serie 3 GPS
Nothing work and reboot every 2 minutes...

I checked for a watchOS update around 1:30 PM EDT and there wasn’t an available update showing and there still isn’t.

It’s only the iOS that got an update.

Ok maybe it beta 7 then...

But after the beta 8 on my iPhone I look for watchOS for my watch and there were one so I thought it was 8...

So what could I do...
The watch open but raise to speak don’t work but is activated on the watch and it keep rebooting every few minutes...

Raise to speak is working on my Watch series 3.
Neither did I have any reboots thus far.

Via the Watch app, select the “Erase Apple Watch Settings and Contents” and then set it up again. If you’re a bit timid about doing that, make a Genius Bar appointment with the nearest Apple Store to have them assist you.

Hey guys do you believe in miracle ?

I decided to go biking to let some steam out and while I was preparing myself my watch seems to stop rebooting, so I said let’s go !

Outside I started my bike session by voice with raise to speak and it worked ! And started my favourite biking playlist also with raise to speak... it worked !

I even receive messages but did not answer them because I didn’t want to push my luck to far...

Ended my 25km session on the watch and all is recorded well !

So I don’t know what went wrong with this update ?
Maybe it needed many reboot to get finished...

For now it stop rebooting there still some bugs but boy it scared me.
I thought I brick my watch with that update...

Thanks for the update, sir. It’s good to know that your Watch is functioning properly again. Let us know if things change. Take care.

Here are some bug I have with raise to speak...

This one since the first beta with music:
-I ask to raise or lower the volume and the watch said it's done
But it’s not... Anyone else have that bug ? I have reported it to Apple since beta 2.

Forward/backward working well

Those one only since that beta 7:
Raise to speak for:
-Weather ? The watch show "Weather" but nothing else...
The same things for any other command like:
-wHat time is it in Paris ?
-what the weather in Miami ?

The Watch just show my command and nothing else...

All the command for my lights, fans etc does work fine !

Well good news !
I rebooted my iPhone 8 and my watch myself and the only bugs left for Raise to speak is for lowering ou raising the volume for music.
The watch said it’s done but it’s not...

Anyone else have this bug ?

If you are not a developer and/or you can live WITHOUT your Watch then you should not install betas. You can not revert back and that is the main reason Apple does not have a public beta program for the Watch.

On a separate note, beta 7 has been solid on the Watch s3.

I don’t use Siri to adjust the volume.
I simply use the Now Playing feature and turn the crown to raise or lower the volume.

I often do use the crown for volume but while biking it’s more easier with raise to speak ! (When it will be working)...

But could you please just test raising the volume while playing music with raise to speak cause I want to know if it’s just me or a bug for everyone ?

Yeah maybe I will wait a few days for the next beta and see if it’s safe...
