Alrighty all, I’ve noticed a really really annoying “feature” with watchOS 4 on my S2 Nike Plus AW — when I lift my wrist to see the time, the screen is often slow to turn on to show me the watch face. It’s really annoying. It’s especially bad when I’m out running. I’ve found that I’m staring at my watch for 4-5 seconds sometimes before I am able to see my screen to look at my speed and pace.

There have also been a few instances when I’ve had to tap the screen just to get it to respond.

Who else (if any) has seen this?

I had some issues with it on my Series 0, but I would just readjust my watch on my wrist and it would work fine.

Yea but you shouldn’t need to readjust. It should work as expected.

I’m currently sitting in a chair and had to turn my wrist 3 times before the watch face came on.

If I have an app running on my watch and lift to see show, there is some lag.
But in all honesty, that lag was there also on watchOS 3.
That lag isn’t there if I have the home screen.

Yes, this is also my experience. Lag to me is no different from OS 3.

For me it’s lagging even on the home/clock screen .... any screen really. It’s not every time, but when it lags, it’s noticeable. Especially bad when I’m running.
