Safety light for evening runs

Thought it was a smart (and nifty) little idea for Apple to include a safety light for evening runs in watchOS 4. I don't go out to run in the evening often, but when I do I'll definitely be using this feature for my own safety!!

The blinking light thing could prove quite useful for those who run at night, but like you, I don't tend to run outside after dark....

This sounds like drain battery mode. You can get inexpensive lights that are much brighter and use standard batteries that will be far more effective. Ok for an occasional flashlight mode, but not all that effective even for that.

Well, there are plenty options for people to make them visible in the dark.
The best part of the bright white light is that you have a (sort of flashlight) on your wrist whenever you need it.
