watchOS 3 and Messages

I have an Apple Watch Series 1 and prior to watchOS 3, Messages worked great. It still works fine, but when I'm going back and forth with someone on Messages on my iPhone, I receive every single message on my Watch at the same time with notifications.It doesn't happen with Whatsapp, just Messages. My iPhone is running the most recent iOS 10.1 and my Watch is 3.0 and it definitely was not happening on the previous version of watchOS.

Is there any fix?

Hey I am finding this too and its bugging me. In some cases the messages come through on the watch 30 mins+ after they appear on my phone (which I have already replied too)! I am guessing its a bug that hopefully will be fixed in the next update!

I did a soft reset (holding digital crown and dock button) seems to have cured it for the minute!

Thanks! I did a soft reset and (so far) it worked! Let's see how long it lasts ;-)
