I have the original unlimited data plan, unlimited tethering, unlimited talk, unlimited text, Asurion and a $40 phone payment and bill is $236/mo.

Depends on your plan. I have 4 lines on Verizon. Bill dropped by $6.

It really depends on which plan your switching from. I'm actually saving by switching.

So it seems the MIL discount is on the line access (which I expected since I saw the line access drop from $20 to $16 for each line) but it seems to be taking some off the plan as well.

I remember paying $120 after taxes back in the day for Unlimited everything on T-Mobile. So the new Verizon Unlimited Plan is either the same or less depending on how you look at it. I don't have a phone payment (Verizon offered me $650 trade in for an iPhone 6s so I got a 7 free) so Unlimited would be $90 after taxes. If you included a $27 payment for a device each month, it would be $117. So I look at this as the same deal as before, at least in my case.

People have to remember these plans won't suit everybody all the time. That's why we have options. I have 5 lines with Verizon and my bill decreased so I'm pretty happy. And prioritizing has been nonexistent which is a bigger plus. My experience has been great
