My parents keep asking my about the advertisements. I added them and my sister to my plan a long time ago. We are considering switching even with the $30 jump per month. It would finally allow my parents internet at home, and they could both use their tablets without worrying over the data limit. Only hard sell is the autopay. Not a one of us likes that little hoop to jump.

Autopay isn't a requirement for the plan. Simply a requirement for the additional $10 savings. If you don't like it, then don't sign up for that. You'll just have to pay the extra $10 so your jump would be $40 instead of $30. Is the unlimited worth a $40 increase would then be the question?

After 24 hours over 22 gb data, my son has noticed no slow down, throttling, prioritizing, or anything like that. He's in Memphis.

I'm guessing this may only be an issue in markets such as New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, D.C., and the like during peak hours.

Just an FYI -- I applied my military discount without any issues to the plan so that discount is confirmed to work :).

I'm standing in my Verizon store as I type. I actually had to come into a Verizon corporate store and show my Military ID in order to get the discount again even though it was on my account before the BestBuy discount.

I guess I need to thank Verizon. I just signed up for T-Mobile's $100 for 2 lines of Unlimited data. In the areas I use my phone, T-Mobile is as good as Verizon, plus I can get the two lines for close to the same price as what Verizon would be for 1 (after taxes and fees).

I wish T Mobile was as strong in my areas. I'd probably switch in a heart beat. Can't beat that price. Their inclusion of the taxes and fees into the quoted price really is a game changer. That $20 in savings for some plans can go a long way and be a real decision maker.

Same here. T-Mobile just don't have the coverage in my area that Verizon does.

Exactly. And having a reliable phone is worth more to me. When I made the switch from Sprint to Verizon it was like my eyes were opened LOL.

"Whoa! I can have service here!!!" Haha.

Previously I couldn't even send a text from work. Now I stream like a madman lol.
