Cancel a phone order

Has anyone ever cancelled at phone order placed at a Verizon store? How did the process go? They currently have my upgrade locked on an order so I cant go to the apple store and pick up a phone.

I have and their process is terrible. It will take a while for their system to update & show that you're still eligible for an upgrade.
