Two-year pricing is still available for current customers. Is your dad's phone on your mom's account and eligible for upgrade?

My contract expired on Saturday and I'm now eligible for upgrade. Verizon shows me the two-year pricing when I'm signed into MyVerizon.

You still have the option for 2 year pricing they just don't advertise it. However the payment plan with the discounts most of the time is the better deal now. Especially with the upgrade every year option for the 6s models.
