Is this an original invitation request?

Invitation request

Hi, I was invited by someone onto Facebook Messenger recently. I accepted and installed the app but then decided I didn't want it and uninstalled it. Then today I got another invitation onto Messenger from the same person. Would this be a new request or could it be a notification from the original invitation still? I'm assuming that because I accepted the first time and did the installation that the person has invited me twice but I'm not sure. Any ideas please? Thanks

Not sure, and hopefully someone who knows will respond. In the meantime, you might want to contact Facebook support regarding this matter.

Could be a 2nd request. Maybe they saw you accept, then disappear. I like Messenger.

You're not likely to get anywhere with Facebook support. You can always just notify this person and explain that you don't use Messenger.
