I discovered something strange just now. While looking through new movies on my Apple TV (4) I saw the French movie, "Priceless". I purchased this movie years ago, but with a different cover than the one that showed up in the movies app so I opened it and it showed options to buy and rent, but not play???

So I went to my purchased movies and there it is in the list. I tried to open it and it gave me an error??

What do I do? I shouldn't have to repurchase it. Has this happened to anyone else??

On the rare times I've noticed this behavior in the iTunes Store, I ultimately found out the item had been removed from the store by the producer of the item in question.

Possibly... the terms and conditions covers items withdrawn by the content providers...

This is why it’s always best to download any content you purchase online regardless of content source. You have a right to backup your digital purchases. I have a ton of content purchased from iTunes and elsewhere, I have it on my NAS, and backed up on Blu-Ray Disc for archives.
