Is anyone watching “Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story”? I just can’t bring myself to…

Yeah…I’m not so sure I actually want to watch this myself. I enjoy watching horror movies, but that’s it, it’s just a movie. Dahmer is an actual animal and the things “it” did were real life

I’m not a fan of biopics. I just don’t watch them.
And watching Jeffrey Dahmer is not fun, cathartic or whatsoever, so I won’t be watching it at all.

First is Rome from HBO 2010, 2 seasons. Graphic content warning!. It has mostly historically real characters and it uses accurate historical timeline. This is on free Tubi app but I’m sure elsewhere. Very good series.

Second is Netflix series Rome: Reign of Blood. Graphic content warning! This mixes documentary narration then some drama (repeatedly). Narrated by the great Sean Bean. Each season is about one emperor: Julius Caesar, Commodus, Caligula.

The series was great with the character Anne Boleyn. It was just good after her character’s death, imho.

Even if it is history with fictional elements, it's still history. So it's hard to keep a character alive much more than it would have been in real life. :(

Lol, true enough. Anne Boleyn was destined to meet an unfortunate end. But the span between Henry’s ugly jettisoning of Catherine of Aragon and his married life to Anne Boleyn probably could have lasted 10 more one hour episodes :).
