I personally don't like him much either, but some of his movies are very good. I also liked Greyhound and Finch on TV+.

A good movie that even fits in thr pre-midway stories of Pearl Harbor, Doolittle, Marshall Islands, Coral Sea. Good recommendation for veteran day.
My only big knock on the movie was some of the CGI.

If you use attached thumbnails, they show as broken in TapaTalk and the iMore forums app. They always look that way, if posted from a computer or online. They show in the browser, but not in the apps.

Thanks again. I’m on via browser. I used a link this time but I usually cut out the middleman by downloading it to photos, crop as necessary, then upload to my post. That method bypasses any of the issue’s mentioned?

No, any images posted from a computer or online shows as broken in the apps. It uses attached thumbnails. And for some reason that doesn't work. This has been an issue for several years, and no one bothers to fix it. The drawing below illustrates the main problem.

I’m curious, have you read the book? In my opinion they did a good job with the movie but they really fast tracked the end when it was starting to close all the open ends. What did you think of the movie?

The book was fantastic IMO!

No I have not read the book. I actually prefer books over movies though! I liked the movie but the ending surprised me!!
