Brooklyn Nine-Nine

I just started watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine. I'm only three episodes in. So far, it seems a little watered down. I wouldn't mind if it got a bit edgier. Who knows, I might get what I want before the first season ends?

I also hate that police radio walkie-talkie static noise they use at the beginning and end of every flashback. I understand it's designed to let viewers know a flashback is occurring (although most of us wouldn't need the heads-up), but I think it's a little bit loud? It gets annoying after the fifth or sixth time.

It definitely has a 'safe' quality to it. Probably good for its time slot and something the kids can enjoy with their parents.

Based on the cast of characters in it, I think goofy is about as edgy as it's going to get
