Do the books read like the series plays out? I wish I found the books before I watched the show.

The series is very similar to the books. I watched the series first and when I read the book I could see it as it played out in the series. It's what made me continue reading the book series. I can't wait for Fire and Ice, HBO is slow poking.

1. Terminator - Sarah Connors. Shame it was cancelled
2. 24
3. Buffy/Angel
4. Star Trek (all of them)
5. Stargate (all of them)

Honorable mention: Supernatural, LOST, Jericho, Quantum Leap, Prison Break, BSG

Welp, why not. Worst tv shows:
1. Any "reality show" though I'll watch Hell's Kitchen for a few laughs.
2. CSI, Law & Order, or anything similar
3. Medical dramas
4. Talk shows.
5. American idol or Glee..or anything remotely similar
