Zooming in from mouse?????

So i have updated to the new OS Yosemite and now when i double tap my mouse to enlarge the page the page takes up more then the whole screen. My question is, is there any way of adjusting how big your screen enlarges too?

I know its a dumb question but i am hating this OS because of that.

I've been trying like heck to replicate this on my macbook... can't seem to...

System preferences >Accessibility>Zoom click more options set zoom range.
