Youtube app full screen glitch?

Apologies if this has been discussed before. But my youtube app has been glitching up whenever I try to go full screen watching a video. Sometimes I would have to rotate the screen twice just to get the video perfect and it's annoying. Anyone else experiencing or experienced this and know how to fix it? I attached a screenshot of what the glitch looks like.

Close it and open it again or rotate the screen

Delete the app by going in to Settings > General > iPhone Storage. Reinstall YouTube. If you still have the same issue you'll need to report the bug to the YouTube app developers.
