YouTube and iPad?

Ok this will sound like the height of silliness but I still haven't been able to copy a YouTube link and paste it in an email from my iPad.
How do I do that?

It's even a pain in the tuchus on a computer/web browser... In the YouTube app, in the video's player window... Upper right corner...there's an icon with 3 dots connected by lines... Tap that... One of the options is copy link... Similar applies to web browsers...
