There was the story about Apple wanting the regulations for real world testing of self driving cars to be changed, and Apple is testing their self driving cars, so considering these things I have a couple questions.

How long do you think it will be before Apple releases the Apple Car?

What do you think the attempt to change regulations means for the Apple Car and the future of self driving cars?

Will these changes affect future rules/regulations/laws pertaining to self driving cars?

Laws for self driving cars for the public are bound to change, there is no doubt about that.

As for the changes Apple wants about testing, that really depends on the flexibility of law makers. I don't think it will be a easy process to have the testing regulations changed. Law makers tend to be thick headed in those cases.

The Apple Car will at least, IMO, take 5 years before it becomes publicly available.
