Windows computers can not receive documents created with Pages

Hello,

I have a macbook air and when i try to email someone a document I created using Pages they could not open the document through microsoft word. One person was using Windows 7 and the another Windows 8. Is it something on my end? Can I fix it? I need help ASAP because I'm a secretary!

Pages only exists on the Mac operating system OS X and on iOS. You will need to export your Pages document into Microsoft Word .docx format. Go to "File" then "export" in the menu. You can select Word document as an export option. They should be able to read it after you do that.
