So, I thought I did everything correct, however when it comes to the restart point the redsn0w hangs every time. I have tried 4 times, tried restarting the computer, everything. Any solutions? Also have tried the windows xp simulator.

Which iPhone have you got, and which IPSW are you using? That seems to have caused more issues than the pc.
