Hello!

I have an iPhone 3G coming in the mail tomorrow and I am wondering what to do with my plan. I am currently using a BlackBerry 8900 and so right now I have the BlackBerry Unlimited Web and messages add-on. I have been looking into this for a few days now but cant seem to come up with a solid answer. I need to know if my iPhone will work with the BlackBerry plan, different people on different forums say it works flawlessly, yet other people say it will not work. I would like to keep the blackberry plan because it includes messaging, if I do the Total Internet add-on, or smartphone web or whatever T-Mobile is calling it these days, I'm gonna have to pay for a messaging plan.

I read on the CrackBerry forum that you will be able to use the BlackBerry plan with the iPhone, haven't tried it out myself yet, won't be getting my iPhone until tomorrow, but try it out and let us know.

I don't see any reason why that shouldn't work, that seems to be about $5 a month more than the Smartphone Unlimited Web and 400 Messages plan I have. That way you have both features on one service... good deal :D

Yes this will work. I didn't even have to adjust any settings. I do have a question though. when I am not using my BB, does t-mobile know that? If so, is it possible to incure additional data charges, even though I am on the "Unlimited" plan?

T-Mobile will actually welcome you and your iPhone with open arms. I mean you're trying stick it out with them instead of ditching them for AT&T. Though they won't be able to offer you an "official" advice or assistance with them, but they are really cool about them.
