I
After more than 15 years covering everything Apple, it’s with a heavy heart we announce that we will no longer be publishing new content on iMore and the iMore forums will be closing as of November 1st, 2024.
That would be cool.... I hate trying to find the connector in the dark at night when my wife is already asleep. While the watch I can just lay on the stand and it starts to charge.
There's a magnetic charger for the iPhone that goes in the lightning port and when it's near the charging wire, it'll just magnetically hook onto it.
wireless charger wont be any important improvement , why should Apple follow Samsung's Steps ?
Not an important improvement or not an improvement? Is removing the 3.5mm headphone jack an important improvement? Removing the antenna lines?
How do you use your headphones if your phone needs charging at the same time?
Well, we won't know that until Wednesday. I have other lightning dongles and there's a slot for a charging cable. I'm hoping Apple does the same thing here.
I'm interested in seeing Apples solution for this. I think they have thought it thru and will do it the right way. I personally don't care because I use Bluetooth headphones but for those that do care I'm interested.
Wouldn't it be an important improvement if there is no headphone jack? How do you use your headphones if your phone needs charging at the same time?
using the wireless charger you said wasn't important.but like Rob said, we'll find out soon!
