Will people who have my old WhatsApp number automatically see my new number?

Dear all,

I have changed my phone number recently. I use whatsapp. Is there anyway for people (who do not have my new number) but who had my previous whatsapp account number would be able to know what my new number is?

I've always changed the phone in WhatsApp when I've changed my devices around. But it sounds like you don't want to, am I correct?

Could they tell your number before, just from using WhatsApp? I've never used WhatsApp. But I would say if they could before, they probably can with the new number. I'm guessing!

Yes the phone number is visible. I think I'll test that out today between my Q10 and my SGIII. Don't know why I didn't think of it earlier. DUH!!!

Indeed, the phone number is very much visible. I've had this very question in the past. You can continue using WhatsApp with your old phone number or simply re-install whatsapp and re-authorize it with your new phone number.
