I do use it on my iPhone. I find it useful too. I find that on my iPad I forget that it isn't there and end up long pressing, which sometimes accomplishes similar things.
I used 3D Touch maybe 30 times a day before. Now I'm using it even more.
Once you find how useful it is, it's easy to get used to it and find you can't do without.

This does sound awesomeDefinitely since in iOS 10 you can now 3DTouch folders to see apps that may have notifications in that folder and jump directly to the app without even having to open the folder and scroll to the app.
Also if you're not using 3DTouch to select text or move the cursor by pressing on the keyboard you fail at life. That functionality alone makes 3D Touch incredibly useful.
