Will I need to replace my iPhone screen?

I

iMore Question

So I have dropped my iPhone 5c (it occurs quite often to me) and it looked like simple drop where nothing actually happens just I need to push my screen a bit back and it works perfectly. But this time after I pushed screen it started becoming red and suddenly my screen became all black. It is black all the time, but if I press lock or home buttons it gets a bit brighter. I can still hear people calling etc. I read somewhere in the internet that it might just be some connections going off which should obviously be cheaper than replacing screen.

If it were me, I'd make a Genius bar appointment with the nearest Apple Store and have them fix or reset the display.
