Will any app play 1080p .mkv files?

CineXplayer will soon support .mkv files on the iPad. Have been using it for sometime now & looking forward to the next update.

CineXplayer has been updated & will support. I use for all my movies/videos when travelling (every week). Also supports passive 3D - both that I've tried it yet.

Used to use "Handbrake" free app to convert MKV (1080,720) and transfer to iPad. buzzplayer, vlc,player will play the converted files perfectly
