Will a 5s me341lla vzn work on tmobile LTE?

Looking at buying a new phone, have someone wanting to trade.. Prob is he has a unlocked gsm Verizon 5s, I heard that won't get LTE on metro pcs or tmobile.

Please confirm and clarify!

In some places, yes... the Verizon variant of the iPhone does cover the radio bands that Tmobile uses for LTE in some areas.
