Wifi question.

Does wifi drain ones battery as opposed to being on LTE or 4G? Friend told me that he keeps his on all the time and it easier on your battery. Also, he said that if I'm out of range, the phone will go to LTE or 4g and drop of if wifi.

Thoughts ?

Wifi doesn't drain battery as much as data does. I pretty much keep my wifi on 24/7 unless I'm in a really rough wifi area.

Even thou I have LTE and cellular enabled and I'm at home, it will pick (for lack of a better word) the wifi and drop the other two?

Yup it will always connect to an available wifi before it connects via data connection. Once out of range of known wifi connections it will switch to data.
