Oh no! This is a security breach in my opinion. I picked up my iPhone 7 and without unlocking it (I pressed the power button to turn on the screen, not using the fingerprint sensor) my notifications on the widgets, like my Evernote app, calendar, credit card balance, etc. are completely visible. Is there no way to lock that so someone can't just pick up my phone and view that info.?

It’s a feature you can disable.

Go to Notifications in Settings and disable per app Show on Lockscreen.
In iOS 11 that’s called Show on Cover Sheet.

Oh, thank you so much. I almost always have my phone on me. However, there are occasions where I will lay it down at work. Don't want my info. compromised from nosy people. :)

Still showing and I've turned everything off that I can find.
