why wont the apple logo go away on my iphone 4???

i previously had a problem with the led light not going off on my iphone 4 due to water damage is what i was told. so to fix that they told me to take the battery out and let it dry. so i did that. then when the phone was dry and the led went off i put the battery back in and now the apple logo wont go away and it also wont come on unless its plugged. if someone knows how to fix it it would be great help to me so i wont have to buy a whole new phone thanks.

Either you didn't reassemble it correctly or there's more wrong with it due to the water damage... Or both.
