Why won't my phone pair to Ford sync even though Bluetooth is switched on?

phone will not pair to ford sync even though bluetooth is switchedon

bluetooth is switched on but when ford sync asks to verify sync no. no number appears on the phon and no keyboard appears to key the number in

Can you see the device in Settings > Bluetooth? If you can, have you tried to select that device?

If it's like my car, I do not have to input the 4-digit code, even though the setup asks for one. The code gets Inputted automatically. Maybe yours does the same.

That is a good point. From what I've seen, there are a lot of differences between Bluetooth devices. My wife's Kia makes me select the device before I can use it.
