Why won't my iPhone install onto my PC whereas my iPod will?

Please help! I have tried everything that i know to do.

I'm *assuming* you're trying to get your iPhone to be detected via iTunes? Is that correct? If not, my apologies for misunderstanding, and please be a bit more descriptive of what you're asking. Anyway, installing or re-installing the latest version of iTunes and then connect your iPhone to your computer via USB to see if it is then detected.
