Why won't my iPad Air connect to some wifi routers?

my ipad air will not connect to some wifi routers

I have used my ipad with several various wifi routers for almost two years. Now it will not connect to them but will connect to others that I have never used before. Any thoughts?

Settings...General...Reset...Reset network settings... You'll need to enter passwords again...
