why isn't my Verizon IPhone 6 working with any Canadian phone companies?

I have a Verizon iPhone 6 and I have tried using a wind chip, rogers chip and a Koodo chip in it and it says that the sim card is not supported. I thought that Verizon phones were factory unlocked already, can anyone help?

That's weird, I'm in Korea and I use my Verizon iPhone on KT. I had to take my phone to the carrier and have them put my phone's IMEI into their system and now it works fine. Maybe you should try that
