Why isn't my iPhone 6s Plus turning on?

New phone will not come on

Just bought new iPhone 6s Plus. Transferred data via app from Android. It's been 3 hours since Android said "Done", and iPhone is still just showing the apple icon.

Is this normal? Read online that it should be done in 8 minutes.

Welcome to iMore! Three hours is a lot of time. Try resetting it by holding down the power button and the home button simultaneously until it restarts and you see the Apple logo again. If you're still having issues after that I would contact Apple Support. Keep us posted!
