Why isn't my iPhone 5s ringing since I changed the sound?

New iphone 5S, changed sounds, phone doesn't ring

Also, call is ringing in on my ipad! Why on earth would that happen?

Not hearing the ring tone? Check the silent switch on the phone... Do Not Disturb... ringer volume...
