Why is there no "Television" app on my Apple TV 3?

I just did a restore using iTunes on my computer and logged in with my details and I'm missing the TV app. The Movies, Music and Computers apps are there, but no TV. I'm about to sell it so it really needs to have everything. What can I do to fix it???

Apple TV 3 is not compatible with the App Store. Apple controls what goes on Apple TV 3

I know that. I'm not asking about the App Store. There used to be a "TV" app that showed you television series that you could purchase either by the episode or by the season. It is no longer there.

At the top of the TV default menu, check for TV shows. It should be there.
