Why is the Mail app frozen on my iPad Air?

One email is stuck on screen o IPad Air. Cannot edit, delete, trash,etc Cannot get to any other emails.

I don't know, but if it's the native Mail app, try rebooting your iPad to see if that helps. If you're using a 3rd-party mail app, make sure you're using the latest version for your device. Also, you can try deleting the 3rd-party mail app, if applicable, and then reinstall it.
